Combination Switch

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering wheel.
3. Remove four lower steering column panel retaining screws.
4. Separate upper and lower steering column panels, then remove lock cylinder illumination bulb from lower panel.
5. Remove upper and lower steering column panels.
6. Apply two strips of tape across clockspring and housing to prevent accidental rotation.
7. Remove three clockspring retaining screws, then lift clockspring off steering column.
8. Remove clockspring ground screw, then disconnect electrical connector.
9. Remove clockspring assembly from steering column.
10. Remove cancel cam and spring from steering shaft, then three combination switch retaining screws.
11. Disconnect combination switch electrical connectors.
12. Slide combination switch off steering column shaft.
13. Reverse procedure to install.
