Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

Air Induction System:

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION


1. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connection.

2. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.

3. Loosen engine air cleaner housing clamp.

4. Carefully separate engine air cleaner and remove air cleaner element.

5. For installation, reverse removal procedure.

- Air Cleaner Outlet Tube Clamp 1.0-2.0 Nm (9.0-18 lb in)

- Mass Air Flow Meter 2.0-3.0 Nm (18-27 lb in)

- Mounting Bracket to Inner Fender 9.0-12 Nm (80-106 lb in)
