CLEANING AND INSPECTION
Inspect brake pads and lining for wear. If lining is worn to within 1.0 mm (0.040 inch) of pad, replace all four pads and lining assemblies (complete set) on front wheels.

On-Vehicle Inspection
1. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
2. Inspect the brake pads and linings for wear.
3. Replace the brake pads and linings if necessary.

Inspect the brake pad and lining for:
^ Oil or grease on the face.
^ Abnormal wear or cracking.
^ Deterioration or damage due to heat.
^ Minimum thickness of 1 mm (0.04 inch) or greater.
