Cruise Control Switch: Testing and Inspection



NOTE: To test speed control actuator switch, perform the following voltage and resistance measurements.

Speed Control Actuator Switch Assembly Voltage Specifications.:






For voltage measurements, remove harness connector from speed control servo. Connect negative lead of voltmeter to pin 10 (circuit 676) (PK/O) of connector. Measure DC or AC voltage of circuits with positive lead of meter.

Speed Control Actuator Switch Assembly Resistor Specifications.:






For resistance measurements, remove harness connector at speed control servo. Connect an ohmmeter between the designated circuits, shown in the chart, with the ignition switch off.
