A25 Check Command Switch Return Circuit
- Measure resistance between Pin 6 (Circuit 248 [T/O]) and Pin 10 (GND, Circuit 57 [BK]).
- Is resistance greater than one ohm?

Yes
REPLACE speed control servo.
No
SERVICE short in Circuit 248 (T/O). RECONNECT speed control servo.

A26 Check Resume Switch Operation
- Disconnect 14290 harness connector from speed control servo.
- With RESUME switch pressed, measure resistance between Pin 5 (Circuit 151 [LB/BK]) and Pin 6 (Circuit 248 [T/O]) while rotating steering wheel through full range.
- Is resistance between 2090 and 2310 ohms?

Yes
GO to A27
No
REPLACE speed control actuator switch assembly. RECONNECT speed control servo.

A27 Check Command Switch Return Circuit
- Measure resistance between Pin 6 (Circuit 248 [T/O]) and Pin 10 (GND, Circuit 57 [BK]).
- Is resistance greater than one ohm?

Yes
REPLACE speed control servo.
No
SERVICE short in Circuit 248 (T/O). RECONNECT speed control servo.

A28 Check OFF Switch Operation
- Disconnect 14290 harness connector from speed control servo.
- With OFF switch pressed, measure resistance between Pin 5 (Circuit 151 [LB/BK]) and Pin 6 (Circuit 248 [T/O]) while rotating steering wheel through full range.
- Is resistance less than four ohms?

Yes
REPLACE speed control servo.
No
REPLACE speed control actuator switch assembly. RECONNECT speed control servo.
