Rear
Blower Motor and Wheel1. Disconnect battery ground cable (14301).
2. Remove both rear passenger seats.
3. Remove three retaining push pins located along lower edge of auxiliary A/C assembly trim panel.
4. Grasp lower edge of trim panel, lift outward and push upward to remove the trim panel.
5. Disconnect heater blower motor switch and illumination electrical connectors at trim panel.
6. Disconnect heater blower motor electrical connector.
7. Remove ventilation tube from blower motor (18527) and housing.
8. Remove the three screws retaining blower motor.
9. Remove blower motor.
10. Remove the blower wheel retaining pushnut from heater blower motor shaft.
11. Remove blower motor wheel (18504) from heater blower motor center shaft.
NOTE: When the battery (10655) has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module (PCM)( 12A650) relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the strategy.
12. To install, reverse removal procedure.
