REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Open and position glove box door aside.
3. Disconnect electrical connector and vent tube from blower assembly.

4. Remove retaining screws, then remove blower assembly from case.
5. Remove push nut holding blower fan to shaft, then remove fan from shaft.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
NOTE: Vehicle specific information about operation, stored in PCM using battery backed up memory, may be lost when battery is disconnected. If this occurs poor engine performance, stalling and other driveability problems may occur. It may be necessary to drive the vehicle for up to 10 miles to allow the PCM to relearn this information.
