Description

Diagnostic trouble codes are:
- P1746: Open PCM Output Driver.
- P1747: EPC Solenoid Circuit Failure.

NOTE: This pinpoint test is designed to diagnose the EPC solenoid electrical system ONLY. To prevent replacement of good components, note that the following areas may be of concern:
- Engine-performance.
- Electrical-battery, input sensors, wiring harnesses.
- Transaxle-internal transaxle components, cooling.

This pinpoint test is designed to diagnose the following components:
- Transaxle wiring harness, EPC, EPC PWR.
- Powertrain control module.
