J-1 Check For Key-Off Drain

Turn
ignition switch to OFF.
^
Turn OFF all lamps and accessories and close doors.
^
Connect an ammeter or test lamp between the battery ground cable and negative battery post.
^
Is current drain less than 200 mA (or test lamp OFF)? YES -- GO to J2.
J-2 Check For Open B+ Circuit NO -- Test individual components to find the cause of the key OFF battery drain.
