Retrieving and Clearing DTCs

1. Refer to vehicle illustration to locate relevant components.
2. Install battery charger to power system during testing.
3. Make sure ignition switch is in the RUN position.
4. Make sure air suspension switch is in the ON position.
5. Perform ON-DEMAND SELF TEST under DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODES on New Generation Star (NGS) Tester 007-00500. Record DTCs displayed.
6. Perform RETRIEVE CONTINUOUS CODES under DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODES on NGS Tester 007-00500. Record DTCs displayed.
7. Service DTCs per pinpoint test directions. Service ON-DEMAND SELF TEST DTCs first, then continuous DTCs.
8. Clear stored DTCs from memory by cycling ignition to off, starting engine, and performing the "Clear Continuous DTCs" function under the DIAGNOSTIC TEST MODES menu on the New Generation Star Tester 007-00500 or equivalent.
9. Perform ON-DEMAND SELF TEST and Pneumatic Test to confirm service.
