Ford Motor Company is providing a no-charge Service Program, Number 95B73, to owners of certain 1995 Model Year Windstar vehicles.

Reason For This Program
On some of these vehicles, the sliding door center track check assembly may become deformed. A deformed check plate could result in the center hinge guide roller disengaging from the center track. Also, repeated operation of the door may result in fatigue cracks in the door inner panel at the upper roller arm attachment. Should this occur, the door may exhibit squeaks, rattles or vibration at the upper door frame area.

No Charge Service. At no charge to you, your dealer will install a redesigned center track check assembly and a new upper roller arm reinforcement bracket on your vehicle.

Your vehicle is eligible for this program through August 31, 1996, regardless of mileage. (After August 31, 1996, your vehicle may still be eligible for this program if it is within the 36 months/36,000 mile Bumper-to-Bumper warranty).

How Long Will It Take?
The time needed for this service is about two hours. However, due to service scheduling times, your dealer may need your vehicle for one full working day.

Call Your Dealer
Ask for a service date and if parts are in stock for Program Number 95B73.

If your dealer does not have the parts in stock, they can be ordered before scheduling your service date. Parts would be expected to arrive within a week.

When you bring your vehicle in, show the dealer this letter.

If you misplace this letter, your dealer will still do the work, free of charge.

Refunds
If you paid to have this service done before the date of this letter, Ford is offering a full refund. For the refund, please give your paid original receipt to your Ford dealer.

Changed Address or Sold the Vehicle
Please fill out the enclosed prepaid postcard and mail it to us if you have changed your address or sold the vehicle.
