AFFECTED VEHICLES
Certain 1995 Model Year Ford Windstar GL Wagons and Base Vans Equipped With P205 70-R15 Tires, and produced from February 14, 1994 through April 14, 1994.
REASON FOR THIS PROGRAM
These vehicles may be equipped with an incorrect driven speedometer gear, which may cause a loss of speedometer function, and could cause erratic transmission shifting.
SERVICE ACTION
To correct this condition, the driven and drive speedometer gears will be replaced.
REFUNDS
Only for owner-paid repairs made before the date of the Owner Letter or after the date of the Owner Letter if an emergency repair was made away from the selling dealer.
