EGR Valve: Testing and Inspection

1. Start the engine and run it at idle speed.

Testing EGR Valve:

2. Connect Rotunda Vacuum Tester 014-R1058 or equivalent as shown and apply vacuum.
3. Verify that the engine runs roughly or stalls at more than 8.67 kPa (2.59 in Hg).
4. If not as specified, replace the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve.
