N7 Possible Conditions Not Checked

At this point the following have been verified or are true if the above steps are complete:

- Rear axle speed sensor strength is OK.

- Rear axle speed sensor is mounted flush to differential.

- Tone ring is intact with no damaged teeth.

- Wiring between sensor and Antilock brake electronic control module is intact.

- The Antilock brake electronic control module has been replaced.

- The rear axle speed sensor has been replaced.
The following are time consuming and should be performed only after all previous options have been exhausted.

- Air gap between rear axle speed sensor and rear axle tone ring may be too large.

- Verify Circuits 518 (LG/R) and 519 (LG/BK) are twisted throughout the wire loom. If the wires are not twisted, the Antilock brake electronic control module may be sensitive to any outside interference.

- Excessive axle vibration, especially over rough road can cause this issue. Verify rear axle is not excessively noisy or otherwise performing abnormally.
