Instrument Panel - Finish Panel

Removal
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Pull out and remove the instrument panel ash receptacle.
3. Remove three screws retaining the ash receptacle drawer retainer and remove the drawer retainer.
4. Remove center and left-hand snap-in moulding on each side of the steering column.
5. Remove the cigar lighter knob and element.
6. Using a small, flat-bladed screwdriver, release retaining tab on back of headlamp switch knob while pulling knob away from shaft.





7. Remove headlamp switch knob and shaft and unscrew the bezel.
8. Remove five screws and instrument panel steering column cover.
9. Remove two screws retaining instrument panel finish panel at the top.
10. Pull instrument panel finish panel away from the instrument panel by unsnapping the snap-in retainers and disconnect all connectors to main wiring from the instrument panel finish panel.





Installation
1. Follow removal procedures in reverse order.
