B10 Check Internal Antilock Brake Control Module Diode

CAUTION: Do not press parking brake further than first click or damage to rear brakes will occur.

- Push parking brake until first click is heard.

- Key On. Shift into low range, and slowly drive vehicle above 6 km/h (4 mph).

- Does the lamp come On?

YES -- Defective diode within the antilock brake control module. Key Off. Remove jumper. Replace antilock brake control module. Go to B12.

NO -- Key Off. Remove jumper, problem is base brake related. Verify fluid level, float, level switch for proper operation. Service as required. Go to B12 to verify repair.
