E3 Check For Intermittent In Short to Ground

- Disconnect 12-pin HCU connector.

- Measure resistance between Pin 30 Circuit 497 (W) and Pin 1 (ground).

- Is resistance measurement less than 100k ohms?

YES -- Find and repair wiring faults in Circuit 497 (W).

NO -- Go to E4.
