H2 Check Proper Valve Resistance at Control Module Connector

- Install 60-pin breakout box. Make sure the correct Econoline 4WABS overlay is installed.

- Measure valve resistance between 60-pin breakout box Pins 28 and 37.

- Was resistance measured between 1-3 ohms and Code C1202 or C1204 obtained in Step H1?

YES -- Go to H3.

NO -- Less than 1 ohm and Code C1204 was obtained. Low resistance detected. Go to H5 to determine fault location.

More than 3 ohms and Code C1202 was obtained. High resistance detected. Go to H5 to determine fault location.
