M12 Inspect RF Brake Sensor For Hidden Damage
- Remove the right front brake antilock sensor from the front right wheel end.- Inspect the plastic housing carefully for stress cracks or breaks.
- Inspect the right front brake antilock sensor connector cavity for evidence of water entry, pin corrosion or excessive debris.
- Are any of the above found?
YES -- Right front brake antilock sensor housing damage is found. Inspect right front brake antilock sensor harness routing for excessive tightness or any obvious sources or stress on the right front brake antilock sensor. CORRECT as necessary. Replace right front brake antilock sensor. Go to M16.
Water intrusion or pin damage is found. Replace both halves of the 2-pin connector assembly. Clean right front brake antilock sensor terminals as necessary. Pack right front brake antilock sensor connector cavity with dielectric grease. Go to M16.
NO -- Go to M13.
