Q4 Check For Intermittent Reset Switch Fault

- Set up the Rotunda New Generation Star (NGS) Tester 007-00500 to monitor and record reset switch PID ON/OFF status. Drive vehicle over rough road at various speeds making frequent brake applications.

- Does the reset switch turn On at any time?

YES -- HCU reset switch or vehicle wiring is faulty. Go to Q5 to determine fault location.

NO -- Concern cannot be duplicated. Go to Q6.
