C1 - Isolate Vibration/Shudder

- Determine if vibration/shudder is induced by the rear brakes by using the parking brake to slow the vehicle from approximately 80 km/h to 56 km/h (50 to 35 mph). To use the parking brake:

- Hold the release handle out while depressing the parking brake pedal with the left foot.

- Is vibration/shudder present?

YES -- Check the rear brakes. Go to C2 if disc brakes. Go to C3 if drum brakes.

NO -- Check the front brakes. Go to C2.
