Cleaning and Inspection

WARNING: The heat shield must be cleaned of any combustible matter.

Raise and support the vehicle. Heat shields are positioned around the catalytic converter and the bottom of the muffler. Heat shields should be free from random bends which would bring any part of the hear shield into contact with the catalytic converter or muffler causing a rattle.
