Crankshaft Fluctuation Sensor: Service and Repair

Misfire Sensor:

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery negative cable.

NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.

2. Remove attaching screws and timing pointer.
3. Disconnect wiring and remove sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
2. Tighten attaching screws to 8-12 Nm (75-105 lb in).
