Fuel Pump Relay: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

NOTE: When battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms my occur until the powertrain control module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the adaptive strategy.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Locate relay, in the engine compartment power distribution center, and remove relay.
3. To install, reverse removal procedure.
