EGR Tube: Service and Repair

Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve:

1. Loosen the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve to exhaust manifold tube nut at the EGR valve.
2. While holding the EGR valve tube to manifold connector with a wrench, loosen the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube nut.
3. Disconnect the EGR pressure valve sensor hose.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation Tube:

4. Remove the two EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube bolts from the ignition coil bracket.
5. Remove the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
