Removal and Installation

1. Check feature presets to determine if autolock/relock and remote memory seat features are enabled or disabled.
2. The RAP module is located above and to the rear of the left rear wheelwell. Remove the interior trim panel used for storing the tire iron.
3. Remove the retaining screws from the upper bracket and the retaining screw from the lower bracket.

4. NOTE: If module is to be reinstalled, disconnect the smaller 22-pin connector. If the larger 26-pin connector is disconnected first, the module will register an ignition tamper and will trigger the alarm when the wiring is reconnected.

Disconnect two connectors and the antenna plug.

5. Remove the brackets from the module by lifting on the module plastic tabs which lock into holes on the bracket fingers.
6. To install, reverse removal procedure.
7. Program new module with preset features observed in Step 1 for module which was removed, as well as reprogramming all transmitters previously programmed.
