Throttle Cable

REMOVAL
1. Remove air cleaner outlet tube.
2. Remove two accelerator control splash shield screws and remove accelerator control splash shield.
3. Disconnect accelerator cable from throttle body.
4. Separate accelerator cable from speed control actuator cable.
5. Remove accelerator cable from bracket.
6. From inside the vehicle, disconnect accelerator cable from accelerator pedal and shaft.
7. Remove accelerator cable.

INSTALLATION
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten accelerator control splash shield screws to 7-9 N.m (62-79 lb ft).
