NOTE: Use Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 1O5-ROO51 or equivalent to perform electrical Pinpoint Test.

DTC List: P1747 EPC circuit failure
P1746 EPC driver circuit open in PCM

NOTE: This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the EPC solenoid electrical system only. To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that the following areas may be at fault:

Engine - Performance
Electrical - Battery, input sensors, wiring harnesses
Transmission - Internal transmission components, cooling

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following components:

- Transmission wiring harness, EPC, EPC VPWR
- Powertrain control module
