DESCRIPTION
Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P126O indicates the Anti-Theft System has detected a break in the on-board security test due to an attempted theft or system hardware failure. When the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) receives the message that a theft condition exists, fuel delivery to the engine is disabled on start-up. As a fail safe, fuel delivery is not disabled if the vehicle is operating and a system failure occurs. Use of the proper key or remote or keyless entry to unlock the door, disarms the Anti-Theft System and enables fuel delivery to start the vehicle.
