Output Test

1. Connect tachometer to engine.
2. With engine running, turn A/C blower motor to the maximum position and headlamps to the high beam position.
3. Increase engine speed to approximately 2000 RPM.
4. Voltmeter should indicate a minimum of 1/2 volt above normal.
5. If voltage is within specifications, the charging system is operating correctly.
6. If voltage is not within specifications, refer to "Over Voltage" or "Under Voltage Test."
