EGR Valve Position Sensor: Description and Operation

Purpose
The EVP sensor provides the EEC system with a signal indicating position of the EGR valve.






Operation
The EVP sensor mounted on the EGR valve sends an electrical signal of the EGR valve position to the PCM.
