Lower

1. Raise and support vehicle, then support body at rear crossmember.
2. Lower hoist until rear shock absorbers are fully extended, then place transmission jack under lower arm to axle pivot bolt.

CAUTION: Rear axle housing must be supported by hoist, transmission jack or jackstands.

3. Remove and discard lower control arm front pivot bolt and nut, then remove control arm.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
