Clutch Switch: Service and Repair

Clutch Pedal Assembly:






REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.

2. Disconnect the Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch electrical connector.
3. Rotate the CPP switch 90 degrees in either direction and remove it from the mounting bracket.

INSTALLATION
To install, reverse removal procedures.
