Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Adjustments

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the engine air cleaner.
3. Place the gearshift lever in the NEUTRAL position.
4. Disconnect the Transmission Range (TR) sensor electrical connector.
5. Loosen the two TR sensor bolts.
6. Install Transmission Range Sensor Alignment Tool T94P-70010-AH to align the TR sensor on the manual detent lever shaft.
7. Tighten the TR sensor bolts to 8-10 Nm (71-88 lb in).
8. Remove the Transmission Range Sensor Alignment Tool T94P-70010-AH.
9. Connect the TR sensor electrical connector.
10. Install the engine air cleaner.
11. Connect the battery ground cable.
