Distributor Cap: Service and Repair

Distributor:

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Mark the spark plug wire set to be sure of proper sequence during installation.
3. Remove the spark plug wire set from the distributor cap.
4. Remove the ignition coil to distributor high tension wiring from the top of the distributor cap.
5. Remove the two screws and remove the distributor cap.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
