Removal and Replacement

Powertrain Control Module:






REMOVAL

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove the floor console and instrument panel insulator.
3. Disconnect the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) electrical connectors.
4. Remove the two PCM screws.
5. Remove the PCM from the console panel.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Tighten the PCM screws to 3.7 Nm (32 lb in).
