Idle Speed

THROTTLE BODY ADJUSTMENT
- Idle speed is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through the fuel injector pulse width and the idle air control valve.

CAUTION
- Advancing the throttle return control screw may put airflow out of range so the PCM cannot control idle speed and mixture. Backing off the throttle return control screw may cause the throttle plate to stick.
