- Verify multimeter is on 20k Ohm scale.

- Measure resistance between anti-lock electronic control module harness connector Pin 10 and chassis ground.

- Is resistance greater than 20k Ohms?

YES -- Circuit is not shorted. Go to 10.5. 10.5

NO -- Find and repair short circuit along circuit 523 (R/PK). Go to 10.7. 10.7
