- Turn the ignition OFF.

- Disconnect battery ground cable.

- Remove the anti-lock electronic control module connector.

- Set the multimeter on the 200-ohm scale.

- Measure the resistance between anti-lock electronic control module harness connector Pin 13 and chassis ground.

- Is resistance 3-6 ohms?

YES -- Circuit is shorted. Leave module connector disconnected. Go to 7.2. 7.2

NO -- Resistance is less than 3 ohms. Circuit is not shorted. Leave module connector disconnected. Go to 7.5. 7.5
