- With brake master cylinder reservoir fluid level OK, disconnect the brake master cylinder fluid level switch connector at the brake master cylinder reservoir (2K478).

- Does the brake warning indicator light go out?

YES -- Go to B3. B3

NO -- Service ground short in circuit 531 (DG/Y), 977 (P/W), or 162 (LG/R).
