Horn: Description and Operation

A single electric horn is standard, on Ranger and Aerostar. A second horn is available on Aerostar. Dual horns are standard on Explorer and optional on Ranger.

All Aerostar horns are mounted in the engine compartment. The standard low pitch horn is mounted on the right fender apron. The optional high pitch horn is mounted on the right fender apron below the standard horn.

The Ranger has a single horn mounted in the left hand front corner beneath the inner fender. The Explorer has dual horns mounted in the same location.
