Front Windshield Wiper System

1. Verify the vehicle owner's original concern by operating the windshield wiper and washer system to duplicate the concern.

2. Inspect to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:






3. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and proceed to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures


Rear Windshield Wiper System

1. Visually inspect the components of the system.






2. Check the windshield wiper pivot arm for proper adjustment.

3. Check the windshield wiper pivot arm for proper connection to the windshield wiper motor shaft.

4. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage.
