Trunk / Liftgate: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Open liftgate.
2. Remove upper rear header moulding.
3. Support liftgate in open position.
4. Disconnect luggage compartment door hydraulic lift.

Liftgate Hinge Assembly:

5. Move roof trim panel out of position. Remove nut attaching hinge to body.
6. Disconnect wires going to liftgate and pry wire boot loose from body.
7. Remove retaining screws from liftgate hinge on each side of the liftgate.
8. Remove liftgate hinge.

Installation

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
