Keyless Entry Transmitter Battery: Service and Repair

CAUTION: Do not take the front half of the transmitter apart.

- The keyless entry remote transmitter is powered by two coin-type, 3-volt lithium batteries. To replace the batteries, the transmitter comes apart by twisting a thin coin between the two halves of the transmitter.
- Remove the old batteries. When installing the new batteries, be sure to place the positive side down as marked. Snap the two halves back together.
