C: All Door Locks Inoperative

PINPOINT TEST C: ALL DOOR LOCKS INOPERATIVE

C1 - CHECK CONNECTORS

Access switch and relay connectors as outlined.

Check connectors for corrosion and tightness.

Are connections OK?

YES GO to C2.

NO SERVICE as required. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.

C2 CHECK GROUND CIRCUITS AT SWITCHES AND RELAYS

Access switch and relay connectors as outlined.

Using an ohmmeter connected to a known good ground, connect the second lead to Circuit 57 (BK).
- Pin 6 LH and RH door lock switches
- Pin 87A all door lock relay
- Pin 87A all door unlock relay
- Circuit 57 (BK) on door key cylinder switch.

Measure resistance of each circuit.

Is resistance 5 ohms or less?

YES REFER to Symptom Chart and PERFORM tests for intermittent component or function. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures

NO SERVICE Circuit 57 (BK) for open. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
