QT6 Verify ABS Control Module Ground Is Intact

QT6 VERIFY THAT THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE CONTROL MODULE GROUND IS INTACT

- Inspect the anti-lock brake control module ground eyelet behind the LH headlamp for excessive dirt, corrosion or looseness. Clean and tighten as necessary.

- Disconnect the battery positive cable

- Measure the resistance between battery (neg) and the ground eyelet.

- Is the resistance less that 2 ohms?

> Yes
Ground is OK. Go to Pinpoint Test K.

> No
Locate and service the source of the high resistance in the ground circuit. Repeat QT4.
