Suspension Mode Switch: Description and Operation

The rear air suspension service switch provides a ground signal to the generic electronic module (GEM) in the ON position only. In the ON position, Circuit 635 (Y) is grounded. The switch is located in the jack storage area.

NOTE: The rear air suspension service switch must be turned to the OFF position when the vehicle is hoisted jacked, towed, jump-started or raised off the ground, to avoid unnecessary operation of the system and/or possible damage to its components.
