Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable and positive battery cable.
2. Raise and suitably support vehicle on hoist.
3. Remove LH front tire and wheel assembly.
4. Disconnect Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove one bolt and TSS from transaxle.





INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten TSS retaining bolt to 10-14 Nm (89-123 inch lbs.).
