REMOVAL and INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument cluster finish panel.
3. Remove the two screws securing the warning chime module to instrument panel and disconnect the connector.
4. For installation, follow removal procedures in reverse order. When the battery ground cable has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi.) or more to relearn the strategy.
