Vehicle Speed Sensor: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION
The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) rotates with the transaxle's final drive gear. The speedometer driven gear turns a cable which is attached to the speed sensor in the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster provides the vehicle speed signal to the operator.
